Founder
Castagno Entertainment Group was founded by David F. Castagno to personally represent artists and provide the guidance necessary to navigate through the rough and tumble waters of the entertainment industry. Combining his vast experience in the music industry, Mr. Castagno is uniquely qualified to offer an insight and perspective that few others can.
As a performer, he was at the forefront of the L.A. music scene of the 80’s and played at such legendary clubs as The Roxy, The Whisky and the now defunct Gazzarri’s. His over-the-top stage persona garnered him much praise and criticism alike, but no one ever faulted his enthusiasm—an enthusiasm he carries with him today and imparts to his clients.
As a promoter, he booked a number of sold-out concerts throughout the L.A. and Hollywood area with artists from several major labels including; Geffen, MCA, Atlantic and Chrysalis Records. By cross promoting 
with both radio and print media he launched a series of successful concerts during the late ‘80’s and early ‘90’s.
As a publisher, he founded the hard rock, Screamer Magazine, the “loudest mag on the planet,” where he interviewed the largest acts in the genre. Mr. Castagno worked personally with many of the artists and even recruited several of them to contribute columns for his magazine. His many trips to New York City gave him an insight and an edge that was unattainable on the West Coast, sparking a creativity that would launch the magazine to a new level. He eventually sold Screamer Magazine and in 1994 left the music industry to start a design firm specializing in multi-media design and marketing.
In 2008 Mr. Castagno combines his entertainment industry experience with his marketing and technology skills to form Castagno Entertainment Group, a truly unique full-service, artist management firm that can address all the needs of their clientele in-house. This makes for a very effective and cohesive brand of management.
In October 2011, Castagno launched RadioScreamer, produced by Mike Stark (KNAC, KLOS & KABC) at the waterfront L.A. Radio Studio located in the picturesque Los Angeles Harbor. RadioScreamer is a weekly, one-hour radio program that focuses on ’80s rock and metal.
